Practice Manager
Ms Laura Grostate is the Practice Manager and is responsible for the efficient running of the practice. She ensures that the systems, resources, and processes required to deliver high-quality patient care are in place and operating effectively. Her role encompasses human resources, patient safety, premises and equipment management, and information technology. Laura works closely with the clinical team to support the delivery of patient services and to develop and improve services that enhance patient care and outcomes.
Assistant Manager
Mrs S Valvona supports the practice in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of operations. She works closely with management to help coordinate administrative processes, support staff, and maintain the high standards of service for our patients.
Nursing Staff
Our team of four Practice Nurses holds morning and afternoon clinics throughout the week, offering a comprehensive range of nursing services. Their responsibilities include general nursing care, chronic disease management, immunisations, new patient health checks, health promotion and education, patient advice, and women’s health care. They also play an important role in supporting our diabetic and minor surgery clinics. We are also supported by two dedicated phlebotomists who carry out blood tests at the practice.
The Reception Team
Our friendly and dedicated Reception Team plays a vital role in supporting our patients. As the first point of contact for the practice, they can assist with appointments, routine test results, and provide information, advice, and signposting to local health and support services.
The Administration Team
The Administration and Secretarial team provide a wide range of support in the efficient running of the practice, including patient registrations, referrals to hospitals and community services, health screening invitations, reports for outside agencies.
